My pal Rafi Ghanaghounian, a fixture in Toronto's art community, is currently the Artist In Residence for Broken Pencil. His project for the magazine is titled State of Fame and investigates the meaning of what "celebrity" means today. He asked me to contribute, so my entry (below) is a twisted take on Canuck teen heartthrob du jour, Justin Bieber. Hopefully the real Justin isn't plagued by existential angst like my guy is.
