She Is Heaven, She Is Earth is a series of paintings I created for a show which ran from September 5 – 26, 2019 at the now defunct Liberty Arts Gallery in Toronto. Inspired by neolithic fertility goddess figures, sacred animals and Sumerian mythology, the images were meant to reflect an ancient reverence for the divine feminine, something ignored by our contemporary culture at its our own peril.
